Teachers allegedly marked internal exam papers without checking them! In some cases, marks were reportedly given based on “political bias.” Such allegations have emerged in the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at Jadavpur University. In protest, a section of the students staged demonstrations in front of the offices of the university’s Dean and the department head. Protests were also held in front of the Vice-Chancellor’s office.
