Bengal is undergoing a major evaluation by the World Health Organization (WHO) to assess its healthcare infrastructure. Following the Review Mission and Digital Mission, WHO teams have arrived in the state to scrutinize its healthcare facilities. Recently, WHO representatives reviewed government health schemes at Swasthya Bhawan and on last Friday, they met West Bengal’s Chief Secretary, Manoj Pant.
Notably, the WHO plans to invest thousands of crores in Bengal’s healthcare projects, which could significantly boost the state’s healthcare infrastructure.
