BJP leader and party’s former state president Dilip Ghosh recently expressed admiration for AITC leader and national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee, saying, “I find Abhishek to be a more capable leader than Rahul Gandhi. His statements strike me as much more insightful.”
Ghosh went on to say, “Rahul Gandhi has lost 30-40 elections and has largely been rejected. His words no longer carry the same weight as Abhishek’s. Whether the public accepts someone’s leadership is one matter, but whether the party acknowledges it, is another. Only time will tell.”
