Prior to Kali Puja, twin low-pressure systems are strengthening themselves. Furthermore, there is a possibility that the low-pressure area in the Bay of Bengal may turn into a cyclone. However, according to the Indian Meteorological Department’s forecast, dry weather is expected to continue in the state until Tuesday.
A vortex is expected to reach the central Bay of Bengal by Tuesday. By Thursday, it is expected to transform into a very deep low pressure. After that, it may strengthen and make landfall from any coastline.
As a result, fishermen have been advised not to venture into the deep sea in the central and southern Bay of Bengal on Tuesday and Wednesday. The weather office predicts strong winds of up to 55 km/h, which will cause turbulence at the sea.
