Domm first look unveiled featuring Afran Nisho, Chanchal Chowdhury and Puja Cherry ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr release

The first look of the much-anticipated Eid-ul-Fitr release Domm has been unveiled, offering audiences a gripping glimpse into a story shaped by suspense, danger and the instinct to survive.

Released on social media on 8 March, the 54-second teaser introduces viewers to a quiet landscape surrounded by hills, slowly waking under the light of sunrise. The calm is soon disrupted by the arrival of a lone man, setting in motion a tense chain of events that hints at hidden threats and a desperate struggle for survival.

The teaser reveals striking glimpses of actors Afran Nisho, Chanchal Chowdhury and Puja Cherry. Backed by an intense background score and visually charged sequences, the preview has already generated curiosity and conversation among viewers online.

Afran Nisho, Chanchal Chowdhury and Puja Cherry appear in tense moments in the newly released first look of Domm, filmed across the rugged landscapes of Kazakhstan.

Shot extensively across the dramatic terrains of Kazakhstan, the film promises a visual scale rarely seen in Bangladeshi cinema.

Throughout the teaser, Nisho appears fatigued and anxious, hinting at the emotional and physical toll on his character. Cherry’s expressions convey uncertainty and fear, while Chowdhury appears visibly alarmed and unsettled. Each moment raises new questions — who is running, who is chasing and who will ultimately survive.

The teaser features only a single line of dialogue, delivered in the final moment in Nisho’s voice: “I am Shahjahan Islam Noor, a Bangladeshi Muslim — remember that.” The line has already struck a chord with viewers, further intensifying intrigue around the film.

Director Redoan Rony said the project now belongs to the audience. “Domm is no longer just our film — it now belongs to the audience. Meeting their expectations will be our true success,” he said, adding that the teaser offers only a small glimpse of the film’s scale and ambition.

Nisho, who plays Shahjahan Islam Noor, described the film as both a survival and emotional story. “It takes courage to create a film like this, and our entire team has put their heart into it. Seeing the audience respond positively to the first look is truly encouraging,” he said.

Actress Cherry, who portrays Rani, said the character has multiple layers. “The teaser only reveals Rani’s look. The character carries several dimensions, and to understand how deeply she influences Noor, audiences will have to wait a little longer,” she added.

Domm is produced by SVF Alpha‑i Entertainment and Chorki. According to producer Shahriar Shakil, the film is inspired by true events and has been in development for more than two years.

“Our aim has always been to push boundaries and create next-level cinema,” he said. “The visual scale audiences see here is something relatively new for Bangladeshi cinema, and modern viewers are eager to experience films of this nature.”

Carrying the tagline “Until the Last Breath,” Domm is set for release during Eid-ul-Fitr and is already shaping up to be one of the year’s most anticipated films.

The screenplay has been written by Syed Ahmed Shawki, Al‑Amin Hasan Nirjhar, Md. Saifullah Riad and Robiul Alam Robi alongside director Rony.
