In a major step towards fulfilling the vision of hosting the Olympic Games in India by 2036, the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) has formally expressed the country’s interest. On October 1, the IOA submitted a Letter of Intent to the International Olympic Committee’s (IOC) Future Host Commission, officially launching India’s bid for this prestigious global event. Los Angeles in the USA will host the 2028 Summer Olympics, and Brisbane, Australia, will host the 2032 Games.
