On Tuesday, RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav emphasized that Mamata Banerjee, the Chief Minister of West Bengal and TMC chief, should be given the leadership of the INDIA alliance. “Mamata Banerjee should be allowed to lead the INDIA bloc,” he stated. When asked about Congress’ hesitation in accepting her as the opposition leader, Lalu dismissed the chances of ‘INC’s opposition making a difference’.
