Rohit Sharma to Miss First Test Against Australia: Jasprit Bumrah to Lead in Perth

Rohit Sharma will not play in the first Test against Australia. After becoming a father for the second time, he has requested additional leave from the board to spend time with his family. As a result, Jasprit Bumrah will lead India in the Perth Test. Devdutt Padikkal has been included in the squad for the first Test in place of Rohit. It is almost certain that KL Rahul will play as an opener.
