The Bengali television actor has shot the content, which promotes the welfare scheme introduced by the West Bengal government. The content has sparked conversation in the entertainment industry, especially amid ongoing speculation about actors associating with political campaigns. Saha, however, clarified that while she has attended some events at the invitation of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, she currently has no plans to join politics because she does not feel sufficiently familiar with the field.
At the same time, she said that if she were ever offered an electoral ticket from her hometown Malda in the future, she might consider the possibility then. For now, she maintains that active political involvement is not part of her immediate plans.
While the content focuses on promoting the Lakshmir Bhandar scheme, the actor has not indicated any immediate plans to formally enter politics. The reported shoot has nevertheless drawn attention as political parties increasingly turn to familiar faces from television and digital platforms to amplify outreach ahead of key political events.
